• Question: do you deal people that needs Hypnotherapy we have been learning about Hypnotherapy in class

      Ahh, I don’t because I am a social psychologist, which means I study people but I don’t actually treat people! Those are all left to clinical psychologists.

      I unfortunately don’t use hypnotherapy as I work in a different area of psychology. Similar to Jamie, I study people but don’t treat them.

      Similar to Hannah and Jamie, I don’t use hypnotherapy as I am in a different area of research. However, I have heard some interesting things about its effectiveness.

      Unfortunately I’ve never had the opportunity to use hypnotherapy myself buuuuuut…I saw someone else do it with a patient. It was a fascinating experience. Felt kinda unreal to watch but it really helped them.

      I don’t use hypnotherapy. But I have actually had it myself to help with anxiety many years ago! I think it can be really effective, but it has to be delivered by someone who is trained in it properly. It is also important to know that it is not always the best tool to use for everyone.
