Question: why do you work on cyberaggression?

Brilliant question! I was involved in some research looking into emoticons and emojis which led me to research more into the online environment and how we communicate with each other online. It was through this research that I started to learn more about the negative effects the online environment could have on people, and I was interested to know why people were engaging in behaviours that were harming others.

I decided I want to research cyberaggression in more detail to try to understand what factors were driving people to engage in these behaviours, in order to help develop more effective intervention and prevention strategies.
